I’ve been working as a trial tech/consultant for 20 years. Having sat through 100+ trials, I have been part of dozens of jury selections. In my experience the leading method of tracking jurors is the “Sticky Note” method. It’s really difficult to fit any significant amount of information on that 3” x 3” piece of paper.
That’s why I came up with the idea of making that “Sticky Note” method in a digital format. We’re trying to imitate the feel of it, but with an unlimited amount of note space, and upgrades that can’t be duplicated on paper. Our goal is to make using the Voir Dire App as intuitive as writing on a sticky note, bringing the voir dire process into the 21st century.
